| Chronic Pancreatitis The disease turns chronic after several attacks on the pancreas. My diagnosis is Chronic Pancreatitis with modified Pancreatic divisum. | Pancreatic Divisum This link is my actual diagnosis with a few other modifications that make it more complicated. I have Pancreatic Divisum but the part that is rare is how many actual ducts I have and how they are formed. My ducts are either completely formed but are so small there is scarring and no way for them to drain, or they never completely formed in my mothers first 6 weeks of pregnancy (no fault lies in the mother). When they speak of the pancreatic divisium they are speaking of the typical cases. Mine is actually called modified pancreatic divisium because it is not the typical case.
